Plans and free trial
What each plan includes, how the 14-day trial works and what happens when it ends, seats, and how to change plan.

Every plan includes the team calendar, vacation requests with approval, guided onboarding and the interface in Italian, English and Spanish.

In the panel, the Scegli il tuo piano window (from the Upgrade pill or from the box of a locked section) lists what each plan includes. The window is not translated in the current version: its labels stay in Italian whatever language you are reading in, and Scegli il tuo piano means "choose your plan". Besides the rows in the table above it also shows Notifiche avanzate ("advanced notifications", Pro), Slack e Telegram and Audit trail (Business): in the current version these items do not correspond to features available in the panel.
The free trial
Every new organisation starts with 14 days of trial on the Pro features, with no credit card. During the trial the side menu shows the plan name.
The exact date the trial ends does not appear in the panel: not in the side menu, which only shows the plan name, and not in Settings › Seats and subscription.
A few days before it runs out, the administrator who created the organisation receives {company}: your trial ends in {n} days, with the exact date and a summary of what changes. When it runs out they receive {company}: the trial has ended, you are now on the free plan. If you no longer have those emails, ask support for the date.
What happens when the trial ends:
- the organisation moves to the Starter plan, which does not expire;
- nobody is deactivated: people, requests and data stay where they are;
- the Pro features are no longer available: only Vacation is left in the request form, the Documents and Reports sections show the padlock, the Pro settings show the Upgrade box;
- if the organisation has more than 5 people, no one else can be invited or registered until it goes back under the cap or a plan is activated; the cap takes effect when the billing platform updates it, normally the same day. Reactivating a deactivated account is the exception: in the current version it is not stopped by the cap, see Employee management.
Seats
A seat is taken by anyone who works with you (active), by anyone you have invited who has not accepted yet, and by anyone who has registered and is waiting for approval. Inactive people do not take up seats. The free plan includes 5 seats; paid plans are billed on the seats taken. See Seats and subscription.
Changing plan
The plan is not changed from the panel. In the Scegli il tuo piano window the Contattaci button ("contact us", also untranslated) opens an email to support@leavepilot.app with the subject Upgrade a {plan}; activation and billing are handled by support. When the trial reminder email contains a payment link, you can use it directly.
Billing is monthly (paid month by month in advance, cancellable at the end of the month) or annual (a single payment upfront, reduced unit price, renewed automatically unless cancelled). You only pay for the seats taken; moving up or down a plan is possible at any time.
What people see
An employee does not see the plan. If a feature is not included it simply does not appear, for example the Sick leave type in the request form. Anyone who tries to use it anyway gets Funzionalità non disponibile nel tuo piano (Italian for "this feature is not available on your plan": the message is not translated).
